OK since i couldnt figure out some stuff i went to the zoo and tried sunny 16 rule and stuff and kept it in all manual, then i noticed that thing in the eye pice at the bottom that would move if i changed shutter, av or iso.. it almsot perfectly matched up with the sunny 16 rule... some of these shots arnt perfect but my masking jobs look worse so ill post what i got so far i only been threw a few and got about 80 or so more to go threw but here are some that i like so far... it was a sunny day and the elaphent was hard because the sun was on more of his side rather then behind me....

nice shots but im wondering, what zoo is that? The elephant skeleton shot looks mighty familiar and I think I can venture a guess as to which one..

Yea i leanred 2 things by the time you make it to the Elephant area the sun is gonna be at the worst possible postion.... and the tigers are super lazy and 70mm just dosent cut it im really thinking of getting the 70-200f4 L so i can get some reach it was a kinda nice learning experiance.. i still need to work on some stuff i need to get some printed just so i can calibrate my moniter.... some reason my favorite is the bat... i dunno why

Yes, I like the fruit bat, too. I think that it may be the lack of clutter around it. A zoo is a great place to work on angles and reducing clutter that identifies the place as a man-made habitat! I agree, 70mm isn't enough. I bought a 200mm f/2.8L for that very reason. Now I just need to take the time to get to Busch Gardens - alone.
