I went to Cornwall with my family for a few days, had a great time and visited many fantastic places. I took this photo on the beach looking towards St Michael's Mount. That's my Mum in the foreground by the way. There's an old fairy tale about a giant called Cormoran who built and lived on the island so I thought the angle worked to show my Mum as the giant. :)

Please leave any comments and critiques. Is the image too saturated, or too bright?

Thanks.

I really like wide angle shots, nice job with the perspective in this one.

As far as too saturated it looks like the sky has some noise in it although it could be a combination of the clouds and my eyes...

Too bright? I'd say yes only because your subject is shadowed. If this was intentional then nope, looks good.

Thats very good and just shows what a wide angle can do .

A little "fill flash" and this really would have poped.

Thanks for the comments :), the camera was actually just a standard Powershot A80, I wish I could afford a proper wide angle. I did try and use the flash but it simply blew-out the beach in the foreground.
