I just bought a Canon EOS-1Ds and would like to find out if anyone has developed film profiles for the 1D or 1Ds that match existing slide and print films. Would you be willing to share these or explain the procedure you went through?
Still learning, one shot at a time..

Perhaps no-one has replied because they aren't sure what you want or want to do. I'm not sure why you would want such a "profile". There are Photoshop actions that allow you to manipulate images - for example Fred Miranda's "Velvia" action will simulate the saturation characteristics of that film type, but it's not a profile.

The EOS-1Ds is so very versatile! One of the features is
to save custom tone curves, sharpening, and exposure parameters within a custom profile.
I was thinking that it would be nice to 'dial-in' a slide film, or 'dial-in' a print film depending upon the subject.
On location, I often shoot a mixture of Cityscapes, landscapes, people, etc. Just as you can select a different ISO for each frame, I suspect that you can also select different film profiles from one shot to the next based on the subject matter.
