Nice attempt. It would be nice if it was a little closer and more room is in front of the flock(left side of the frame) but i really like the background. I know it's not easy to take this kind of in flight shot, at least for me. So it's still a nice picture.

I agree I wish it were a little closer, but then you would lose some of that awesome background which I think is great! Yeah, it works! Would probably look great printed out and framed.

I agree with cfcRebel. Although the "closer" part is not quite as important as the placement of the birds themselves...it's always (well, almost always as I was myself "guilty" of this in an earlier post;) ) better to have more room in front of the birds, especially flying ones.
This is not a setting I usually associate these birds with, very cool!
