had to use high ISO cuz it was getting dark out (photo skill a bit dark)... but this is the sharpest leafhopper shot ive gotten...

Yup, you're definitely in the Club now. Extremely nice shot. Might I suggest a pass through Neat Image,may help reduce the noise due to high ISO. Fantastic composition. very sharp. Impressive.

i dont have Neat Image. is it any better than Photoshop's "despeckle" filter?

From what I've heard yes. Unfortunately, I dont have despeckle, but, you can download Neat Image free, and try it out.

Those are some pretty rad looing bugs. To bad they aren't bigger, then they'd really be cool. And easier to shoot...:lol:
