Could they have picked a worse day?
That is one of the most popular wedding days for this year.

Do we really want advice from someone who thinks 10/10/10 is a great day to market to photographers, for the reason zagiace mentioned? Seriously? You can't even market your own business logically.

It's a cool day for an event and no matter what day you choose, there will be people who can't attend. While wedding photographers may not be able to attend the live event, portrait photographers are available. And we make the recording available at a very reasonable price - just $59 - if you know you're busy. We're sorry you guys aren't free. It's great that you are booked!

Don't get me wrong here. I think all of the webinars coming out now are awesome. $59 is a great price and I am sure it's worth every penny plus. It just appears to me that the seminar was picked for this day because most Photographers are booked. It seems to be a great way to sell a free seminar.

Definitely not picked for that reason, although I can see why you'd say that. More oversight on our part as Sarah isn't a wedding photographer. I certainly didn't want to work on a Sunday or have our staff working :) Sarah just really, really thinks this date is cool. It's been in the works for over a year. In fact, her twins were born the day after and turn 10 and she's so sad...she wanted to tell everyone their birthday was that day! Ha!

Well it is a cool date. It certainly came out that way but didn't mean to accuse you of shorty marketing attempts.
Another way to look at it is those who need the most help may not be booked that day.
I may ask the wife to watch it and give me the lowdown.

No worries! Truly, if you see everything we do we are trying to help the industry. If you buy, great, but really we're trying to elevate the industry with our events. It helps us all if we are better, more professional and sell our art for more $.

I know :( Here's the scoop guys - this is an email we are sending right now to everyone who registered. We've fired our web company for falling down on us.
You may already have figured out that our website is down.
We have worked for weeks prepping for today. We have our entire staff ready to answer questions and our website has failed us.
We are growing so fast and unfortunately, technology is not growing as fast as we want. SO, we are going to spend the day migrating to the largest web hosting company available.
We are feeling the same frustration you are - BELIEVE ME!
We have been working with our web team for weeks to make sure they can handle the traffic and still, there are tens if not hundreds of thousand of you trying to access our site at the same time.
All we can do while we migrate our site over, is apologize. WE ARE SO SORRY. We know you have set aside time today to learn and we promise, the information will be worth it when we get there. Here is what we want to do to try to make it up to you!
- We will replay the event in its entirety for 24 hours next Sunday, October 17 from 10 am CST to 10 pm CST.
- We will replay one speaker each day from 12 pm -1 pm CST starting this Tuesday.
Tuesday, October 12 - Jessica Claire 12 p - 1 p CST
Wednesday, October 13 - Julia Woods 12 p - 1 p CST
Thursday, October 14 - Joy Bianchi-Brown and Jules Bianchi 12 p - 1 p CST
Friday, October 15 - Sam Puc 12 p - 1 p CST
Monday, October 18 - Kia Bondurant 12 p - 1 p CST
Tuesday, October 19 - Scott & Adina Hayne 12 p - 1 p CST
Wednesday, October 20 - Tim and Beverly Walden 12 p - 1 p CST
Thursday, October 21 - Kevin Kubota 12 p - 1 p CST
Friday, October 22 - Ron Nichols 12 p - 1 p CST

- For anyone who wanted to but didn't get a chance to purchase, we will hold the $59 price until next Sunday.
Being in business isn't always easy. Being a leader isn't always easy. Helping others is always worth it.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.

LizzieJ, that was just what I needed to hear. Thank you so much for your kind words. In a world full of haters, it certainly meant a lot to Sarah and I!
