Celia's road-side skipper here, Nice work with this shot considering the number of skeeters eating at us while you were trying to shoot this. Love the compositon here and the image works nicely as you have posted it.
I would suggest not compressing the image this much and keep it closer to the 100k as this is under 50k and you can start seeing some blocky artifacts in the image here lowering it's level of sharpness.

Thanks Sandi, Sandy, Eric, Jim.
You are right. I saw the side effect of the jpeg compression. I'll keep that in mind next time when i resize. ;)

Beautiful shot, Rebel. The shadow created by the flash makes the skipper nicely seperated from the flower.

For me the flash has flattened everything a little too much. I think I would have preferred it with more natual light and just a gentle fill. Colour balance could use a bit of warming as well.
The jpeg compression has given the whole thing a muddy appearance.
I think it's a nice shot but needs some work in post to find its full potential, if you want email me the original and I'll have a play.

Thanks for the comment Andy. The ambient light was actually quite dim that morning. Without flash I couldn't get enough SS to avoid subject motion blurr because of the breeze.
Can u PM me your email so I can send u the original? Thanks again.
