I just got this little thing a week ago and I love it. I have a few questions about it though.
I noticed elsewhere that other Canon models don't have a way to check the battery status until you get to the point of "low." Is this also true for the S400?
In relation to that, I think I read someplace that you can prolong your battery's life by not recharging it when it's only half-used, i.e. waiting until it is low or completely spent to put it into the recharger. Am I right?
If so, these battery issues are probably the biggest annoyance about the camera for me. The proprietary batteries are so expensive. I did buy an AC adapter and a card reader to help cut down on battery use when possible, but for travel it sure would be nice not to have it konk out in the middle of something.
Thanks.
