I spotted this guy today at a local pond. Anyone know what kind he is? I didn't spot the reflection of the Dragonfly till I got home.:D

If it were out west my best guess would be a common kingsnake. Do you have those back east? Nice pics, I like the reflection.

Looks like the northern water snake to me, pretty nice shots as water snakes do not pose the best for people

Northen Water Snake...many times they are killed because they are mistaken for the cottenmouth

great shot of the northern water snake. I never saw one with those markings. Nice bonus of the amberwing dragonfly.
