Hi everyone!

I recently got a Canon 10D so I'm selling my D30.

I'm selling the camera body and 6 batteries - 3 Canon, 3 generic. I also have the 16mb Canon CompactFlash card, the original box, manuals, software, video cable, USB cable, body cap, and neckstrap. (The charger and A/C adapter is not included, however.)

Everything is in excellent condition. I'm asking $700 or?, and the buyer pays shipping collect. I've got FedEx and UPS offices nearby and both give tracking numbers.

If you'd like to see some actual photos taken with this camera, I have a gallery at:

If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at dg247@aol.com. Thanks!

Hi Don

what great photos.

I too like taking aircraft photos, but i have never had them as good as yours.

the photo

what ISO, Speed, and aperture was used, to get all the detail in the aircraft...against a blue sky.

mine come out like siloettes.

Hi Terry,

I don't have the exact information for the photo, but it's probably something like 1/250 @ f/8 using ISO 100.

It sounds like your camera's meter is exposing for the sky which is much brighter than the subject.

If the subject in these types of pictures are always underexposed, try setting your camera's metering setting to 'spot', 'center weighted', or the equivalent in your system, and be sure you center the subject in the viewfinder. And of course, make sure the sun is behind you!

Good luck and thanks for the kind words!
