turn off s90/95 LCD screen?

At times I'd like to shoot with the back LCD turned off completely, along with the red focus-aid light.
Yes, it can be set to go off after 10 seconds, 1 minute, etc. but it comes back on when the shutter is touched. I may not want to be seen taking photos, but still take them.

I tried everything, looked everywhere...nothing.

Is it possible to turn the LCD off completely and take shots like that???

I have not found a setting for this. Since the S95 does not have a viewfinder, I don't think there would be much need to turn the LCD off completely while shooting.

I dont think it can be done.
You can set the short cut button to turn the LCD off but it comes back on as soon as you press the shutter button.
