If you have a few minutes to look at this Tribute I would like some feedback on it.

These are images taken over a two year period buy myself an one other individual. She isn’t a member of the forums but she should be. To the best of my recollection the cameras used were my 20D, Canon G3 and a Kodak DC 280 Zoom.

The quality of some of the pictures isn’t good but I was looking more to content than image quality. Very few have been edited beyond size. In some cases if time permits I am going to try and retake a few of the city shots, depending on time and conditions.

Anyway, I am rambling, have a look and see what you think of the presentation.

Does it work for you?
Is there an image that needs to be removed?
Did it run on your machine? JavaScript
Did I do OK?
I’m not looking for praise, I am looking for a critique.

Nice shots, I wouldn't even know how to critique that many shots in a single post. Some have nice photgraphic qualities others are probably more personal significance and memories for yourself and your wife/GF. Why not pick out your favs and post them one at a time. You'll probably get better C&C for single shots.

It's not my wife, it's another member of the District. I am looking for how to improve the overall presentation. What I was looking for was if there was any image that doesn't work in the context of the layout.

IE: I had one of my favorite pictures included, then when I ran the page it stood out and said I Don't Belong Here . . so I replaced it.

Does that make sense?

I looked it over. My 2cents...

The collage idea works well and is interesting in itself, but it looses focus a bit.
I'd suggest the factory exteriors and interiors, the staff, the visitors and torurs, kids, the memorial activity is the 'thing'.
Pix of the town, the river, the general area and anything not specific to the 'thing' should be trimmed off, tighten up the edits and it should be better.

the 'thing'.

I agree completely, however the event this is related to for now is a coop effort with the City. Because of that I had to include the other components you talk about.

One the Centennial event is pasted I will do exactly as you have suggested and tighten it up. I have a stock of good images for then.

Thanks for the input.
