Enjoyed very much. :D I really loved the second one, and like the B&W ones that you did, it works very well on those. All are excellant. :) :) Now I'll have to get out my map and see where Sintra is located in Portugual.

Good shots. I would pick up a polarizer....it could give you some nice results in some of those.

These are all really nice shots. I agree with OdiN that you may want to a circular polarizing filter.

Becca, jopfin, Sandy,Sandi ( :D ) Stan, OdiN1701 and Bob,

Thank you so much for your comments. I realy appreciated.

Odin1701 and Bob,
i have a Circular polarizer, but I use it with the 18-55mm. This time I was using the 50mm f1.8 and I never considered using a CPL for it but I might try a good Hoya in the future.
Thanks for the advise. ;)

Regards from Japan, Craig Hello Craig, Happy to hear from you. Any new music album? ;) You have a fantastic collection of photos from Portugal. Not only Sintra but also Azenhas do Mar, Cascais... Though the ones of Sintra are the most magical ones. I Found amusing that you also framed the landscape with the balcony from Pena Palace. That phone booth in the Centre of Sintra has been photographed by me every time I go there. Never seem to get one that pleases me though. Yours is very cool. Thank you for your nice comments and for showing me your wonderful photos.

The 5th has a very good composition by the use of diagonals. Did you shoot it in B&W or processed it afterwards?

The 7th is more classic but manages brilliantly to seize the feeling.

The 5th photo was shot in color (RAW) and then processed to B&W using the channels mixer. Contrast added by burning and dodging with two layers of curves. then a curves layer with soft light effetc to brighten it a bit.
