I have read the reviews and considering the Vivitar grip for my 5dM2. However, I have been unable to determine if the Vivitar has the accommodation (connector) for a hand strap as does the Canon. Can anyone confirm?

Most of these grips are very generic, I haven't yet seen one without a strap lug on the base.
