Here are my first pics with my 350D and 18-55mm lens, which is actually my first (D)SLR and first real attempt at taking some decent (eventually) photos

Anyone with comments or tips, I'd be interested to hear some feedback.

They were both taken at about 2am as by the time I got back from work and charged the battery it was a bit late!

The first one (harbour2) was shot at F/4.5, 21mm, 25sec, on ISO-100 and the second (roundabout) was F/11, 35mm, 30sec, on ISO-100

There is a thread about "what's your city/town look like tonight" that this would be perfect for. Nice work here, which town/city is it??

Welcome to the world of (D)SLR.
The first one doesn't do much for me, the second one, I do like, the exposure looks spon on - the car lights - great!!
