Well I still don't have a clue, but it's somewhere near US Route 7, US Route 20, and a hospital.

Curtis... It is Pittsfield, Mass. I was born there, spent my childhood there and try to go back to visit family whenever I can. Western Massachusetts in the Berkshire Hills; A Beautiful spot on earth.....

Thanks Maureen, glad you liked them. here's a couple more, I didn't think they were as good as the first ones. Did you go to the High School there?

Yup about 20 miles east of New York State and 20 miles North of Connecticut 30 miles south of Vermont. beautiful little city in the heart of Berkshires and hasn't changed much in many many years.

Thanks Marie: Yes I was doing a little of both hanging out the window and standing in the middle of the road, what was I thinking, Rte 7 is a major route through Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.   But hey no sacrifice to great for that one elusive photo.

By the way the second photo is of the High School, don't know if Maureen went there or not. It's a pretty impresive building.

Looks like a nice place. The east coast has some wonderful old architecture that we don't see out here in the midwest.

Sandy, I didn't go to any school there...moved to Philadelphia the summer before kindergarten. However, we did many trips back as all my mom's sisters and parents lived in Pittsfield...actually and all her cousins, Aunts & uncles too. In fact, the last sister just died in June but I still have 2 uncles and all my cousins in Pittsfield and Feeding Hills. I have been back a few times in my adulthood but not for 10 years. The home I lived in is still standing and is still the same color as when I was a kid.... change is slow there and that is what I LOVE about New England!! Thanks for the photos..... I know right where everything is.

Looks like a nice town. Just look at the size and architecture of those churches!

Thanks all for the comments and replies, Yes the architecture is very unique. Lonnie that is medium a sized Church compared to some. What impresses me the most in Pittsfield is the Architecture of the High School. The dome alone is something else, looks like it could be the capitol building.

Marureen I'm glad you liked the photos, feel free to download them. I love driving up and around the Berkshires. Yes change is slow and when it happens us yankees get all fired up. We're just to darned set in our ways.

Thanks for the comment, One thing I love about this forum is that you get to see all different types of architecture from all over the world, It's interesting to see the influence on style has in so many different countries. Looks like we all steal ideas from all over.   all different but yet so alike in so many ways.
