Okay, so this little guy has been eluding me for the past week....everytime I went to photograph him, he took off!! Well, today I got lucky!!

Black swallowtails are not that small, but they very seldom seem to rest and allow one to take some nice photos of them.

Well earlier in the day I was photographing my dogs, so compared to them, he was a little guy.....haha...but as far as butterfly's go, he was a good size :lol:

You know, it was driving my nuts because he kept flitting his wings non stop....FINALLY he stopped for about 10 seconds for me to snap some good shots...I thought maybe he just had ADD or something :lol:
