Seen a lot of comments that the Canon 10D can have problems with focus, or pictures are soft.

I took some at the weekend, see what you think

All taken with a 10D standard 75-300mm canon lens at iso400 handheld.

The picture of the manor house was taken with the new Sigma 15-30mm lens I am impressed.

Very nice, i live about 15 minutes away from the park and have not been for about 20 years.

... a 400x300 down-sampled image is always sharp and won't tell you anything about the camera or the lens.

Yes you are right I was going to put a cropped original just to compare, I have printed on A3 300dpi and they seem sharp, I used to do color darkroom printing on 16x12, medium format and 35mm so I have some to compare with.

Thanks for the effort gyelland. I have been using the canon 70-200mm 2.8 but couldn't get that sort of sharpness that I got from my D60.

Anyway I will try again....cheers
