I've posted 1000 posts finally today. Not looking for any praise or anything but man alive is that a lot of posting since March or what? Anyways glad I found this board and thanks Pekka for making such a great place available. I have learned so much in the past 1000 posts, here's to learning even more in the next 1000!

Congrats, Chris. But you know, you could have gotten here a lot sooner had you not spent so much time restoring your "Martin" guitar and instead spent that time posting here on POTN.

How is that guitar restoration going, BTW? Get it all done yet? :)

Well done and thanks for sharing some content into POTN! Without people like you would probably see here a page "domain for sale" :)

Chris,

I recently crossed the same milestone. I share your sentiments of gratitude for Pekka and the mods who make this forum an oasis of knowledge and friendliness, among a plethora of photography forums that aren't nearly so inviting or helpful.

I must say I'm not entirely comfortable being referred to as a "senior member," since it proves only that I have been active. I only hope that I can give back a little of what POTN has given me, and that my contributions can be of some value.

And I hope that didn't sound too sappy.:)

Congrats, Chris. But you know, you could have gotten here a lot sooner had you not spent so much time restoring your "Martin" guitar and instead spent that time posting here on POTN. LOL I glad one of us remembered ;) I got all the paint off of it and painted the finger board but I ran into a problem which has prevented me from staining the guitar. The whit edging was ruined by the stripper and now I have to find some. Sigh oh well.

Congrats Chris! U are my famous "Show us your [whatever]" man. Hey I tried that with any good idea I could think of that wasn't already covered only to have some guys say "Dude we had a thread like that a year ago" like it seems like to some once a topic has been covered it can never have a "clone" thread again. Ah I tried, failed, whatever.

Well done and thanks for sharing some content into POTN! Without people like you would probably see here a page "domain for sale" I'm sure there is not really one person here (at least any regular) that doesn't appreciate the work you and the mods do. I'm strapped for cash right now but if I could spare some I would certainly donate some to you guys.

Chris,

I must say I'm not entirely comfortable being referred to as a "senior member," since it proves only that I have been active. I only hope that I can give back a little of what POTN has given me, and that my contributions can be of some value. Yeah senior sounds funny too cause am I or are you Curtis really senior? We've been here for less six months and we're senior? I've seen some here come here one month and the next month they have Senior status. LOL its a mystery but I average less then 6 posts per day (mainly because I didn't post anything for a month or two).

Might be a stretch but maybe instead of Senior Member it could be changed to Silvermember? Since after Senior you turn Goldmember. Just an idea.

Congrats on 1,000 posts!

Now, what *is* these silver and gold member things? Is it just the amount of posts?

Petra, you need 95 more posts to enter our braket of age and wisdom.:)
You'll get there sooner by going to all the threads where I uploaded pictures, and saying nice things about them.;)
