Hey guys, did some searching on this subject but couldn't find much... I'm trying to find a good lens for shooting architecture type shots. Buildings, parking garages, structures in general, etc.

Obviously (or maybe not obviously, I don't know) a fixed lens (i.e. 14mm, 15mm) would be better for wide angle shots such as the ones I am attempting, but they are certainly much higher in price, so I was looking at the Sigma 10mm - 20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM.

Thoughts or suggestions from the experts?

never used this lens, but the results i've seen from it are good.

i can say that Sigma EX lenses are good.

I have a Sigma 14mm prime that works well for city scapes and night shots (f2.8).

I was having a look at this lens at the camera store the other day and it impressed me enough to think about geting it.....I have had great results with my 17-40L too.
