Love this lens, from 1.8 and up sharp enough.
These were done this weekend, handheld (because I forgot my tripod :D)

These are really nice shots, I woud've never guessed they were hand held either. How long did you leave the shutter open for these? I would guess at least a second but then again that lense lets in a lot of light. Thanks for posting these, I have been really anxious to try my 50mm 1.4 with some night shots and now I can see it will do quite well.

Anything from 1/30's to 1/100 ISO 800
Except the top one 1/13th

It really is a wonderful lens :D.

Ya, I bought that lens because of what you said about using it in the studio ... haven't shot a frame with it yet, but now I think it will become a "walk around" lens, too. Thanks!

Body used is a 20D.
Walkarround lens it's a bit limited because you can't zoom, but that's me :D.

You do know your stuff, you walked a thin line with the first one on exposure, did not blow the lights out (to the point of losing detail) and still have the flowers right. It is my favorite but it was a hard choice.
