Hi, I use the S9000 with after market ink

http://cgi.ebay.com/14Pk-Ink-FOR-CANON-BCI-6-Pixma-iP6000D-S9000-S830-i9100_W0QQitemZ6797698539QQcategoryZ16199QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem

and print on Canon Semi-Gloss or Epson premium luster.

Any idea of what kind of life time should I expect for the prints?
Do the prints have to be behind glass to "live" longer?

I am not so happy with the Black and White prints from my Canon.
Any tips?

Tnx!

I not sure about that, but stay away from Ink Farm inks for the Canon. They were horrible! Huge waste of money. I stick with Canon inks now.

I get excelent results with the specific inks... why are you saying that?
I have made a ICC profile and everything looks great.
