Sunset Waitemata Harbour + City Views (Auckland)

On my 3rd day of a busy 4 days, I drove down by Auckland's Harbour bridge, and took some quick snaps of another beautiful sunset.
We've had a few days straight, and a very low August rainful, just over a 1/4 of our normal amount. (Not sure how that happened, I bet it will be a late wet winter again!)

NZ is a very nice place. I've been there once before and hope to return there again one day. So many scenic locations and oppertunities for nice pictures.

Very nice set of afternoon images Wazza, I like all of them.....what was your shutter speed & ap' on #5? That is the kind of image I am trying for, last light but bright with car light trails, good one that I'd hang on my wall.

But then if you're asking about the 6th one down, #5, F10, 2.5 seconds.

Follow the Waitakere Sign, onto SH16, and follow it to Lincoln Road, and that's where I live. Only 20min drive to Piha from here. :D

Bought a bed off TradeMe from someone out there, but I think that's the only time we went out to that part of AKL. Been to Piha of course. . . Did they ever find out what happened to that girl went missing out there last year?

No, the taxi, which the police sent, went to the wrong address...

Never found.

One of the reasons why I don't want to go too far off the beaten track.

I was at Whatipu a few months ago, went off track a little bit, only to take a pee, and then a couple of weeks later, a body was found off track. Kinda freaked me out a bit.

Yeah, I remember the taxi, sent to P-something road in the city. Crazy. Piha was one of the places we'd intended to re-visit before we left but TBH that whole mystery rather downgraded it's place on the must-go-again list. Shame really.
