I recently noticed a small halo artifact on photos I have been taking. This is only apparent on a neutral textureless background. On further inspection, it appears to be a physical defect in the CMOS sensor - I checked that it wasn't dust or somesuch by performing the (hesitantly) recommended CMOS cleaning procedure.
Has anyone had similar experiences with their D60? This is the second unit I've had since the first had dead pixels on the LCD screen. I'm hoping I won't end up with a third and a fourth...
