Hello,
My name is Mike. I have been a photography hobbiest for a couple years now. I was first interested in automotive work, then sports (surfing) and recently have been interested in shooting people. I have been succesful in portrait/headshot photography. I have recently been approached by multipule couples asking if I would shoot their wedding. I used to think that I would never shoot a wedding, but I also use to never take shots of people. I don't think wedding photography (as the main photographer) is something you can just jump into. I would like to be an assistant/second shooter for anyone in the local SoCal area (I will travel as well depending on the situation). I would like it to not be just a one time thing. I would be willing to help you as many times as needed. I am more interested in learning to shoot weddings/assist, than I am interested in shooting weddings on my own. In fact even after I help you, I would much more prefer to second shoot, than branch off on my own. I understand your time is valuable which is why I thank you for taking the time to read this. If you decide to chose me, let me know if there is a certain direction/style you aim towards. I do have a regular job which I work on the weekends, but with enough notice I can get the day off.
