I like it! Could you tell us a little more about the shot? It looks like he is in an empty cafeteria having a smoke. Love the grain on this shot too.

I no im a BW nut but give it a go in BW i think it would be a more striking picture in that medium as no colour to distract from the idea behind the photo :-)

Thank you for your generous comments.

Martin, I agree with you. This was an attempt to save a failed capture where I managed to practically ruin a roll of film...I normally don't tone my images but in this image it seemed to help hide many of the scarring and lack of tonal range that I couldn't recover in Photoshop.

There are two things I dislike about this image.

1. The position of the picture and where the chef's head is.
2. The floor on the right.

If this picture were mildly cropped and taken from a slightly different angle (chef not quite centered), I think it would be PERFECT.

All critiques aside though, this is one of the best "After Hours" pictures I've seen in a long time.

VERY well done.
