What a beautiful morning out it was today, Caught this Egret catching it's breakfast.

Incredible timing! The first shot really portrays the speed at which he was going for that fish. The second one is great, the white and blue background, it aslo seems like he is very proud of his catch!

Thanks for the nice remarks Bald. I think the timing was more dumb luck than skill :D lol, I hadn't even been watching the bird very long. I can't wait for more nice days like this (stuck indoors with rain all day today:cry:)

Yes rain put a damper on my day too. No Arid recovery till next week since they closed the road.

Timing and action here are great but I have to say the whites here are very warm overall and should have been metered under more on the exposure at least another third here. This looks like a Great Egret which is one very large bird.
