Things civilisation has got from Lorikeets-
Safety colours - fluro orange and green clothing.
Cats-eye reflectors on the sides of the highways and roads.

Don't forget neon lights... I think whoever invented the colored neon tube must have been familiar with those birds.. :)

True colours for a" BLUEY", some I have seen on POTN lately were to the extreem. they might have been bred to bring out the darker colours . I have been waiting for the wattle flowers to return to the trees in back yard to get some shots myself. EW.

Nice shots Carzee, did you process the second image in RSE by any chance? Looks to have a touch too much fill light or was the original shot with flash?

Here's the RSE panel; "Tourist Guy" Pop-Up Flash used, no fill.
The green goes a tad fluro with flash - i like it.

Amazing, and yet they virtually disappear in vegetation, nice shots.
