RAW vs. Color Cast correction in PS Elements?

I would like anyones thoughts about adjusting white balance by shooting in RAW vs. adjusting white balance in Photoshop Elements.

At the instructor's request, I am going to shoot some snapshots of my daughter's dance recital. The lighting will be tricky, but I can use the flash.

I want to shoot a lot of pictures to try to get all the kids in at least several shots, and shooting in JPG is faster than shooting in RAW.

But because I don't know about the lighting, I'm inclined to shoot in RAW so I can correct for white balance.

But can I not also do this in PSE with the Color Cast tool?
