It looks as though the rule of "cross out the dollar sign and put in a pound sign" applies to these cameras as well.
I paid ?1299 for my 1oD a week ago, and thought that it was a good price - but seeing reports of US prices of $1315 makes me feel rather envious.
As an aside, I wandered into our local Dixons the other day, and they were showing a D60 as "save ?100 - our price ?1699" ?400 more than I paid for the 10D.

In Germany official price = EURO 2199, Austria = EURO 2249
Internet-prices ranges from 1849 to 2199 and more.
I found a dealer with Euro 1650 - I think he is cheating. Wants money, deliveres "within 30 days" :-(
All prices in Germany are with 16% Mehrwertsteuer, Austria with 20%, including 2 years warranty.
It's no deal to buy in USA getting a camera without European warranty. Losing $ 1350 ....
On ebay you can find dealers, delivering for $1880 from Hongkong. Adding tax & etc. makes a bad price ... getting warranty in Hongkong :-(((
Also: send money, get nothing .....

I ws talking with Canon Service in the UK yesterday about my faulty 70-200 LIS. When I commented that it was bought in HK, he said it still would have been covered by warranty. Unfortunately, the lens is 13 months old - Sod's Law.
