Digital cameras operate about 10 000 - 15 000 shots before s

Hi.

Someone claimed that the digital cameras today can't take more than 10000-15000 shots. Then they require service. Have you heard this kind of rumours??

I bought my camera a month ago, have been taking pictures like mad, I think about 2000 pictures...
Pretty easy to count, that my camera doesn't last a full year, if that's the case. What do you think/know?

Never heard anything like that. If the camera is looked after, ne reason why it wont last like any other converntional type camera - basically the mechanics, lense,et are all the same, only difference is the CCD and extra electronics. CCD's have a massive life expectancy.

I wouldnt worry.
