I really like it; reminds me of a painting my grandmother used to have in her livingroom over the fireplace. The use of light and shadow is spectacular.

very lovely! so nicely done. I'm happy to see a flower shot in black and white. so many of us are tempted by colour. what camera did you use? I'm wondering about your exposure etc... wondering if you would share?

Zero - this one was shot with a rangefinder at my local botanical garden. It was a Leica MP fitted with a Voigtlander 35/1.7 Ultron on Kodak Plus-x film. As for the exposure - these flowers were inside the large greenhouse area and there was decent ambient light so the exposure would have been in the 1/30 or 1/60 and f4 or 5.6 area.
