I´m not sure but I think it was with Canon, Soligor and Kenkos usually dont report the right focal length and aperture.

But I notice that I had ticked sharpen for matte paper in Lightroom when exporting so they look a bit over sharpened to me.

I'm shooting with the 70-200/4L and Canon 1,4x II extender and here are some of my results with it. These have passed through Lightroom but with minimal sharpness added and some noisereduction. The extender is a cheap but good way to get closer to your subjects with only a small amount of loss of quality, however i can't say i noticed that much loss at all. More the loss in light reaching the sensor which is by one stop only so you end up at 5,6 which is still acceptable.
