Thinking about buying a used Norman 2000D Studio Lighting Power Pack. Any thoughts on quality? Pricing? etc.
This will be my first purchase toward setting up small studio :)

I think you might be over-buying to get a 2000. You don't really need anywhere near that much power and if memory serves, there is no way to dial down power. You have a couple of rocker switches and various plugs of different output, but they are very inflexible. Also, the P2000d was around in the mid_80's or earlier, so this pack could be more than 20 years old. They were very reliable, but electronics do age and components could begin to go. If it were really cheap, say $200-300 for a pack and a couple of heads I might be tempted, otherwise I would go for newer monolights such as the Alien Bees.
