Does anyone know if there are cheaper ink tanks for the Canon i9900 that are as good as the Canon ones? This topic was probably covered before, but I figured I'd ask. I get tired of shelling out so much $ for them, even though this is a ripping printer!

I too have used Atlex. $9.94 a tank which I did not think was so bad. You obviously use some colors more than others so you don't have to replace them all at once. It's genuine Canon material too which is important to me.
Has anyone seen Canon ink tanks for less than that? I'm also very impressed with this printer as are the people I show/give my pictures to.

I dunno...I guess I prefer going right to the photo store and spending 1.50 more per color and getting it right then, not worrying about how to return it, etc. Makes me more comfortable. I mean, I've never seen them more than 12 bucks. Even straight from Canon, mine are only 11.95 each..

Amazon.com actually has most of the Canon inks for $8.15. Then you have to add shipping. I think they are sold through the amazon site by BH Photo.

I've averaged less than $8 per cartrdge. Just stock up when there's a deal at Amazon, Buy.com, Office Depot etc.
