I just bought a 10D (i had a D30before) and after few hours of testing i have a couple of questions for the 10D users.
First i am under the impression that the camera surexpose, not much but consistently (in evaluative mode). I heard before that on the D60 this kind or thing could happen because the exposure mettering was fooled by the red light used to superimpose the AF points. could it be this?
Also i am curious about the AF system. In auto Af selection mode when the camera focuses, 2 or more AF points pointing at different subject distances are hilighted?? which on will be in focus? (i am not talking about the A-depth mode)

anyway, overall it is a great camera. a great improvement over the D30 (to my view the D60 was not). Much faster, better color and great usability! what is left to "Nikonists" ;)

It would help if you'd read your post prior to submitting.

What is the problem? Underexposure? In evalutive mode the camera will expose the shot so that detail is held in shadows and highlights. If there are very bright areas in the shot it will often look underexposed so you will need to do a curves adjustment in Photoshop. As for your AF question, if you don't select a specific autofocus point, the camera will focus on the closest object. All focus points on this plane of focus will illuminate.
