I'm actually a transplant from Isle of Wight, I moved up here 5 years ago to go to VCU and stayed. Hopefully won't be here in 6 months (new job), but we'll see. It's a funky little place to call home. :-D

It's typical Richmond. ::shrug:: I dunno, can't really explain it. I liked the composition of the shot, the group of people clustered around dilapidated storefronts on the main drag waiting in the rain for a bus to take them someplace better, like home. Texture of the rain on the pavement, people passing through but not really stopping.

::shrug:: It made sense to me, your mileage may vary. :)

Well either way Richmond is a cool little place to shoot... I have some from Belle Island and also Cary town... Now that school is starting back up I will have to do a little drive thru of there again...

I have to admit I havent posted any of my shots here on the forum... but I will do some and put it up here...
