Is anybody else going to this? I'll be there on the Friday :)

Have you been before? I went last year.
Its nice the way the crowd dress up either in smart casual or period costumes - don't turn up in jeans and t-shirt. Last year they had a nice air display as well.

Personally I've done jeans and t-shirt every year of the Revival... Still I go to watch the racing (and take photographs) something the majority of the Revival crowd seems to have forgotten about recently...

I've been most years in Jeans and a T shirt, but like Cadwell I go for the racing, its only 16 miles from me too :D This will be my 1st year with a "proper" camera though.

I was up for it but due to "equipment failure" I won't be now.
I've never been and was about to book tickets the weekend before last, then my 300D went wonky so I didn't.
I don't like the idea of doing anything at Goodwood on a Friday, I live in Hertfordshire so it's a fair distance - battling with weekday rush hour traffic to get the the FOS earlier in the year was a nightmare! added an hour and a half to my journey.
Still, if you're 16 miles away, that rocks!

Sunday for me:D
I too don't dress up as that is mainly for the social set who don't get any further than the hospitality tents:rolleyes:

i went last year (free tickets) and I would say the majority were dressed smartly with a good proportion in period clothes as well. Modern casual was definately the minority.
So leave your dSLR's at home and get out the Box Brownies.

Thanks but no thanks. When Goodwood finally turns into nothing more that a poncy garden party for the County Set, that's when I'll abandon it altogether for the charms of some proper motorsport elsewhere; no matter how good the tin on the track is.
p.s. "period" for Goodwood is 1948-1966... something you might want to point out to all the Hooray Henry's who wander around looking like extras from the Battle of Britain. Oh... and a pair of Levis plus polo shirt fits right in to the timescale... Mods, anyone

I'll be there on the Saturday. I dressed up for the inaugural meeting as I had a GRRC membership. But since then I haven't bothered.
If I park at my sisters house I can walk to the circuit ;)

Sunday, mate... sorry. I guess we'll have to wait for the Wyedean to meet up again. I have it on my rapidly filling 2006 calendar.

Very nice... :D don't take it to the Wyedean though... the tinkling sound as a stone finds it's way down the end will bring tears to your eyes. After Andy had a near miss with a stone at the Sunseeker last year, I'm going to leave my expensive glass at home and will make do with the 100-400L and 70-200L.
