well it was pi**ing down all day today so to stop me getting withdrawal symptoms from taking pics of flies I took this :), just messing around really but i thought this turned out cool

OK, Ya GOT me on this one. :lol: Very nice detail, but GOSH, I never knew that a fly has a "Stinger" like these do. :shock: ;)

Love the colors and the composition, its a great idea, the only thing I would change is the fly thats standing up, i would lay it on its side as well. That would make shot perfect. Now, If I only knew how to Fly-Fish. Well done, very creative.

Lol BE you've no idea how many times i tried to get it laying on its side........... it was having none of it........ the fly is so small that the weight of the hook doesn't help to lay it flat like the bigger ones..........

bruce the "stinger" on the flies is meant to resemble the little tail whisps you see on mayflies and the like
