Looking for photographer job NYC

Hi, I am looking to improve my skills and possibly get some job in NYC area. Not new in photography but never shot as pro. Currently owner of some Canon pro level equipment including 1D mk IV & 5D mk II + several L lenses etc. I could shot anything or assist someone shooting any subject or place.
Great computer/PP skills, currently IT professional.
