Nice shot. Love the reflections - the water still appears quite sharp - what shutter speed were you using?

One (very slight) drawback for me is that I would like to see a little more color left in the sky to define the skyline slightly better. Perhaps a shot earlier in the evening before the final blue color left the sky?

Mark, Elle -- thanks for the kind comments. I agree it would have been better about 1/2 hour earlier but I was on the tube then; arrived at vantage point after dark. Shutter speed was 1/10 sec, f2, ISO 800. Handheld, but braced on a metal railing. thanks for looking,

I like the dark sky, it leads me into St Pauls via the bridge.

Andreas --

thanks. more photos from that quick trip (arrive in the morning, 4 free hours to take photos, business meeting, fly out next day -- ugh) are at this link (http://www.pbase.com/davideb/london_aug05&page=all).
