My wife and I took the trip of my dreams this summer and visited South Africa for World Cup 2010. We made a book of our adventures using MyPublisher.com, and we really liked how it turned out. In a lot of ways, South Africa exceeded my expectations, and it was a great country to visit.

Hopefully you enjoy the pages from our album.

Imagine my despair when I got through page 9 and saw not a single vuvuzela. How did you manage that?

Also, great use of your photography and I'm going to use this idea for a future trip sometime :)

 You're right, I didn't put any pics of vuvuzelas into the album. I guess I was too focused on pics of myself and my wife to think about the overall story.

I definitely recommend creating an album like this for your vacation pics. There's something about having the pics in a hardcover book that makes them pop even more.

Anyway, here's your pic of the vuvuzela! ;)

Thanks!

We took the Canon Rebel XS, 580 EXII Flash, kit lens 18-55, 50 f1.8, and a cheap tri-pod from wal-mart that easily fits into a suitcase.

Also, we rented a 70-200 f.28 with 1.4 tele-extender for a few days for our trip to Kruger National Park, and the US vs Algeria game. That equipment made a hugh difference in the photo quality of the wildlife. We got a lot of great pics that I didn't post of giraffes, elephants, hippos, rhinos, monkeys, kudu, and more.

Yes thank you! This one is great, too. The end of it nice and out of focus and taking up a lot of space, you captured the sound in it.

Thanks.

Btw, I saw on your profile that you're from Arizona, which part? I went to college in Prescott, and then lived in the Phoenix area for 8 years. In fact, I'm flying to PHX tomorrow to visit my in-laws for the holidays.
