My name is Dr. Christopher Kidd and i have lived and worked in Uganda for the last thirteen years. In this time i have developed a passion for the sheer mind-blowing diversity of wildlife and landscapes that Uganda has to offer. This passion has led me to set up The Photographic Safari Company with the singular vision of offering dedicated photographic safaris in Uganda. These specialised photographic safaris enable photographers to maximise their time in Uganda by offering tailor-made itineraries, specifically designed to make the most out of Uganda’s beauty. The dedicated safaris I organise are once in a lifetime experiences for photographers of all skill levels and every safari ensures that you return home with a new range of skills, life changing memories, and an incredible portfolio of Uganda’s famous wildlife.
In 2011 I will be offering just two exclusive safaris in Uganda.
Key information
Dates: 26th July – 8th August 2011 and 14th November – 27th November 2011
Cost: $6500 per photographer, $4000 per non-photographer (excluding gorilla permits)
Group Size: Min 4 photographers, max 6 photographers
Duration: 13 days
Safari Host: Dr. Christopher Kidd
Highlights: Endangered Mountain Gorillas, Tree-climbing Lions, Spectacular Landscapes
What makes dedicated photographic safaris special?
Dedicated photographic safaris sole aim begins and ends with each photographers desire to capture the essence of Africa’s wildlife. From small exclusive groups to the best guides in Uganda, The Photographic Safari Company works tirelessly so that each photographer is in the best position, at the right moment, every time. And when that moments comes we ensure that there is not someone else standing in front of you! Each photographer will be guaranteed a dedicated row on each game drive or boat launch to ensure you have the optimum access to every photographic opportunity. Dedicated photographic safaris allow photographers to spend as much time as they need to get the shots they desire. If you want to spend the entire day out in the field to get that one shot, we will do everything we can to make sure you do not come back until you get it. Importantly, each safari will involve as much photographic time as we can cram in.
