I felt I had to mention, I finally exceeded 10000 shots between my D60 and 10D this past weekend. At least 9000 of them were with the D60, but due to numbering mess up I can't easily figure out how many of each, but the image number went over 10000. I also know I have definately taken over 9000 images with the D60 and suspect it is close to 9500.

I also experienced an interesting problem in that the images taken with my D60 were numbered the same as those taken with the 10D and I had to put them in a separate directory.

I suspect I will have to change the way the cameras currently do file numbering.

And all those pictures and so far only 6 have been worth using up 13x19 inch paper on.

Just had to mention it. Nifty thing for me anyway.

Do you have a web site to see your photos? I would like to see more 10D photos for comparison.

Thanks!

Yes, but the images are a mix of Kodak DC4800, D60 and 10D. The newest ones are all 10D though and I label the sets.

I also have several flower/bird shots that I have taken recently with 10D and plan to post, but am limited on space so I am trying to decide what to remove.

Please note: I feel I need serious work on lighting and all of the shots have been processed in either Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (all 10D images) or photodeluxe business edition at some point.

There are some free web photo gallery such as www.imagestation.com which can keep up to 30M storage for photos. You may try it if you like.

Last night, I had a friend who maintains several web servers offer me 1gig of space w/5gig bandwidth, as part of me getting a second domain name through him (which I was going to do anyway). That will take a week or two and then I should have plenty of space for even my .gif animations I always wanted to post.

That problem will be solved.

Now if I can just get my lighting to be satisfactory enough for me (Like I will ever be satisfied :-(

Which reminds of another comment I mentioned to someone yesterday. I won't be happy with my photography until I can shoot every shot to the level of Ansel Adams' print quality. Since even Ansel Adams could not do that, it will be awhile ;-)

In the meantime I will settle for good enough.
