I love the contrast between the colorful butterfly and the grey rock. The composition is excellent. It seems like you are into butterflies now :) .

Nice shot. Really colourful. Looks a bit like a tiny buttefly I've been chasing around here for a week or so (unsuccessfully so far).

So you are using the 50mm with ext tubes for all these macros?

well, Peter, in the Butterfly shots, I had to take and use only the 12mm Ext. tube with the 50mm lens. I did take a few eyeball shots with all the tubes, havent posted them yet, but i will soon.:D

The tubes are great and I love them, but for the really close and personal shots, the 150 would still give you more working room. just my thoughts.:D

Lovely shot BE ..looks like the monarch butterfies we get in the UK.....
i really like the contrast of the grey rock and flutterby .

i would tend to agree................. get the tubes 1st.. play around with them.......... once you can get good shots with tubes you will be able to get AWESOME shots when you buy a sigma 150.
(i'm awaiting my friends return from New York with my 150...... any day now :))
