Invite POTN photographers Nova Scotia

I would like to invite the POTN members of Nova Scotia to an outdoor photoshoot. With this thread we can pick a spot and go. I would like shoot some waterfalls but we can do anything. Maybe we can have a little info setion before hand or somthing. ;) "Let's go and have some fun and post some images on POTN!"

Yes any maritimers can come. I live in Dartmouth just on the other side of Halifax harbour. I think this will be a fun thing to do.

I don't really know if there are anyother people from the area that know about this forum. But I am not the kind to be shy about asking people if there are. LOL. I would guess with you it would have to be on the weekend. If this is the case we can make it a weekend. I would like to find out how many people can do this first. I just think it would be cool to hang out with some like minded people. :lol:

I am serious about this. If you have been here you know what a beutiful place Nova Scotia is. If you can come back we will try to work aroung it. I just think it would be cool.

I have been to Nova scotia many times,Halifax usually, on ships or tugs...spent a lot of Christmas's in Canso Locks, waiting for the weather to change...I know you have some damn rough seas there in the winter!! (and some right friendly ale houses in Halifax!)

About 5 hours from here, but it's a nice ride..I have a class reunion at Castine here this weekend...35 years from Maine Maritime Academy....Jez, did I say that 35 years out loud??? Man ' I won't even recognize those fat old men!;)

Another newbie here as well Sladecj.
I live in Dartmouth, and I have to say I love this site.
I have spent hours on this site gathering information and these wonderful
people are so great in sharing their information. Thanks to them I now have a remote and two extra batteries on order and its not breaking my bank account. I really need a better tripod so thats my next purchase, so again I come here to help narrow down the confusion as to whats the right one for me. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Perhaps we should list a few things people might like to shoot. Or if you know of some hidden jems mention them.

I'm just throwing out ideas here, I've not been involved in something like this before. But if there is organizing etc. that needs to be done, I'd be willing to help. I'd like to see this happen.

Looks like this isn't going to happen, :cry: . I'm not really the person who should be organizing something like this or I'd step up. But if anyone ever wants to get together and go out shooting (a small group 3/4 on a weekend or something). Send me a pm, I'd be happy to go.
