Is this a good option to the Canon 100-400L I had set my heart on?
It has optical staberlization and seems faster than the Canon at F4 wide open.
Can't seem to find any reference to it anywhere!

Simon --

used the forum search tool (in the blue bar at top) and had benefit of remembering them as being helpful to me. Leading up to my recent purchase of the 300 f4, I went thru same decision process about a long lens over past few months, so paid attention to these posts when they came out.

kind regards,
