Ok bash away...

1. Did I go too far with exposing? our 2 dogs run hard and bring the dirt up in the snow.. so it actually looks close to this... pic isnt blue...so my first snow shots of animals..dont think it is too bad...

4. Cropped how the wife wanted it - should i over expose it like the other?

now go ahead be nice, be mean, do as you wish.. but what can i do better on these? these were with my 24-105L....
wife likes all of these so you cant hurt my feelings...

The overexposed images look much better than the others because the snow looks white. Snow picture usually need to be overexposed because all of the light from the white snow tricks the auto exposure control of the camera into thinking there is more light that there really is.

I also agree with your wife with the cropped images. The uncropped ones have too much clutter and the subject of the images (your dog) is too obscure.

I actually really like these photographs and don't really see any bad exposures on any of them. The snow actually has a pretty cool effect to it.

funny thing is besides the high iso that was used... they do that to the snow.. they play so hard that they rototill the ground!!!!!!!!!!! :lol:
