I think installing CS2 changed the Adobe Gamma settings on my computer which is interfering with my Spyder 2 profiles, because I'm getting Adobe Gamma errors when my machine starts up, and my colors between Photoshop and the browser are way off again.
The left image is my working CS2 image, and the right is the screen shot from Firefox. sRGB is the color profile for both.
Has anyone else had this problem since installing CS2 with the Spyder2 profiles?
I suppose I could just re-run the Spyder2 calibration, but I was hoping there was a quick fix for this.

Did you remember to remove the Adobe Gamma Loader after you installed Spyder and profiled your monitor with it? You don't want Adobe Gamma Loader and Spyder both trying to control the color profile of your monitor. Only Spyder should be doing it.

Yes, but I think installing CS2 put it back.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too.

The Adobe Gamma loader was in fact back in the Startup folder. I removed it and restarted, and I didn't get the errors on startup, but the colors are still off.

Did you reboot the computer after removing the loader? If not, give that a try. Also, before rebooting, take a look at what profile is loaded for the monitor in the desktop Properties > Settings tab > Advanced button > Color Management tab. It should be the one that Spyder created.

Yes, I tried a complete reboot as well. The Gamma Loader errors were gone, but I still had the color mismatch.
I just re-ran the whole calibration procedure again too, but the mismatch turned out to just be the Proof Setup in CS2, which defaulted to back to Working CMYK after I installed CS2, so I had multiple problems going on there.
For anyone else installing CS2 after the Spyder2, don't forget to remove the Adobe Gamma Loader from Programs->Startup.
Problems solved. Thanks for the help, Leo.
