This is quite a good silhouette effect but to my eye the composition does not work. I can't see what I'm supposed to be looking at. The legs ? the chair ? the floorboards ?
I can see a double exposure effect at the chair but it's not clear enough to be a center of interest. Only the title made me look more carefully.

For me, this doesn't hang together as a unified composition.

I could be wrong but I think around 10 mm on a digital camera is equivalent to about a standard 50 mm lens on 35mm.
If you took this shot on 35mm with a 205 mm lens as you say, you would have had to be outside or in the next room.
The G2 doesn't extend to 200mm equiv. without an extra attachement on the lens.

Kind regards

An interesting effect, but as eland points out it's a little too subtle. I like the moodiness of the b&w though.

Good point about the focal length conversion; if it was 10.7mm, then 50mm is closer to the equivalent. Besides, it doesn't really look like it was shot with a 200mm lens.

thanks for your comments.
the 35mm equivalent is always wrong on the pbase site.
it's an internal problem with their own auto system of
calculation - nothing to do with me !!
